Four pathways to serve and grow with ATAG
Membership is open to Seventh-day Adventists who demonstrate technology expertise and commitment to the association’s mission.
Full Membership
For baptized Adventists who meet all eligibility requirements, remain active for at least one year or contribute to two ATAG projects, and maintain good financial standing.
- Voting rights and eligibility for office.
- Annual dues: 600 GHS.
Associate Membership
For individuals who support ATAG’s objectives but do not yet qualify for full membership. Associates engage fully in programs without voting rights.
- Participate in activities and initiatives.
- Annual dues: 120 GHS.
Student Membership
Open to students at all levels, including tertiary, senior high, and junior high, who desire mentorship and involvement in faith-driven technology.
- Access training and development pathways.
- Annual dues: 60 GHS.
Honorary Membership
Reserved for those who have provided exceptional service to ATAG or the broader technology ecosystem, subject to Executive Board approval.
- Recognizes distinguished contribution.
- Annual dues: 1,200 GHS.
Hybrid leadership rooted in service
ATAG operates with a hybrid matrix structure that blends servant leadership and holacracy. Authority is distributed, collaboration is encouraged, and every decision aligns with the practices of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ghana.
General Assembly
Comprising all Full Members, the Assembly meets annually to approve budgets, review activities, and elect Executive Board and Operational Team leaders.
Executive Board
Union-nominated leaders oversee strategic direction. Roles include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, Chaplain, Directors, and Regional Coordinators.
Board of Advisors
Advisors steward long-term strategy, risk management, and alignment. They collaborate closely with the Executive Board via designated ex-officio members.
Decision-making
Board decisions pass by majority vote, with the President holding a casting vote. Operational Teams practice shared accountability while documenting minority opinions for review.

Accountability & Meetings
ATAG maintains transparency through annual audits, quarterly Executive Board meetings, and regular Operational Team reviews. The Annual General Meeting unites all members to assess progress and set priorities.
- AGM convened yearly for elections and stewardship reporting.
- Executive Board meets quarterly; emergency sessions may be called as needed.
- Internal and external audits safeguard financial integrity.
- Conflict resolution progresses from informal dialogue to mediation and formal review.
Financial Foundations
ATAG is funded through membership dues, donations, sponsorships, and program revenues. A designated bank account with dual signatories ensures stewardship.
- Dues collected by membership cadre as specified above.
- Transactions require signatures from at least two authorized officers.
- Remuneration, per diem, and reimbursement policies reviewed annually.
